The End of XP as We Know It - Are You Ready?
The time has come – Microsoft® is no longer supporting Windows XP. Windows XP systems pose a serious, and increasing risk, making it more important than ever for organizations to identify and upgrade affected systems, or have network security in place to mitigate the risk.
On April 8, 2014 Microsoft officially stopped supporting Windows XP.
Windows XP has been a fairly stable, reliable operating system for over a decade now, but it really is time to put the venerable OS out to pasture. To be clear, Windows XP didn’t stop working on April 8, 2014 - you can still use the archaic operating system if you insist. However, you will do so at your own peril, and without any safety net from Microsoft.
